Date Added:
Map of the Week No. 374 is from the forthcoming Jörðgarð Trails adventure "A Tale of 2 Books." This week we look at the ground floor of the fortress' keep.

Inside the door is a bench, about 7½ feet/225 cm wide. It's unoccupied. Behind it are four urns, all the same size. There is a stairway that leads up and down. The stairs are quite narrow, only about 2½ feet/75 cm wide. There is nothing else on this floor.

The urns contain a powerful and highly volatile magic explosive mixture made long ago by the red draug wizard Kolbjörg in Snowdrift Fortress, who was Martröð's specialist for such things. If the PC group is foolish enough to open and look inside an urn with a burning torch within 1½ feet/45 cm of the urn opening, the blast will blow the PCs and the keep to smithereens. Nothing will survive.

You can get this floor plan in two versions:

1. The Fractal Mapper (TM) 8 version in FMP format (3.5 MB) from the Jörðgarð website.

2. As a JPG flat map of 1360 x 1360 Pixels (730 KB) with the hyperlink below.

Both versions are released for personal and commercial use under the Open Game License Version 1.0a, which you can read on the Jörðgarð website at:
