Description:
The 289th Map of the Week shows a traveling penal colony in the Greenwood in which the Northern Circle incarcertaes its prisoners. The colony settles in one location, where the prisoners do forest work and then, when they are done, it is dismantled and reconstructed at the next work site.

Key to the Map:

1. Gatehouse, Command Center, Barracks and Semaphore Tower

2. Prisoners' Barracks

3. Workshop

4. Guard Towers. A single crossbow archer is stationed in each tower during daytime hours if the prisoners are in the encampment. If most of the prisoners are working outside of the encampment in the daytime hours and during the nighttime hours, only the four outer corners towers are manned. At night, torches mounted every 20 feet/6 meters on the inner palisade wall and on the walls of the prisoner barracks and workshop illuminate the complex.

You can get this map in two versions:

1. The Fractal Mapper (TM) 8 version in FMP format, fully editable (6 MB), from the Jörðgarð website.

2. As a JPG flat map of 1360 x 1020 Pixels (610 KB), available below.

Both versions are released for personal and commercial use under the Open Game License Version 1.0a, which you can read on the Joerdhgardh website at:
