The 251st Map of the Week is from the second Jörðgarð (TM) Trails adventure on the Fallen Empire Trail, "Draug Hunters." The map shows Elsa's Place, a safe house in the ruins of the Æsir Empire. The house mother Elsa is a facet of the Jörð Mother, who is the spiritual incarnation of the jörð itself. The purpose of the Jörð Mother is to bring harmony and balance to her world. There is no power upon the jörð that can defy, withstand or defeat her. Only she could defeat herself in losing her grip on her goal of balance and harmony, which would cause her to fall into and become one with the Darkness. As long as her actions and deeds serve the pursuit of balance and harmony, her powers are absolute. No one and nothing can counteract those powers or stop her in her deeds. Her safe house is a small island of balance and harmony. Those who wish to desecrate it will face the full wrath and fury of the Jörð Mother in all of her righteousness. If any being within the fence of the safe house violates it rules and triggers the destructive magic that can be unleashed through the ley stone on the grounds, there is no redemption. There are no checks to see if the magic succeeds, there are no saving throws and there are no deific or magical spells to prevent that destruction. Any creature targeted by the destructive magic of a safe house is beyond all hope. Those who seek refuge in a safe house must hang their weapons upon the dead tree before the house and do no violence during their stay there. Anyone may seek refuge there ... god, neutral or evil, human, humanoid, orc, undead, etc.
