Description:
The closing chapter deals with making one's own symbols, creating at first a simple thatch-roofed house, then duplicating it and adding holes in the roof to make a symbol of it as a ruin, and finally duplicating the ruin version and adding snow to the roof to make a winter ruin. The attached graphic shows the steps, beginning with the FM9 export which has an unwanted white area surrounding the building. In this chapter, we learn how to make unwanted white areas transparent.
